How to apply

  • Click on this link to complete the application form. Ensure your resume is up to date. You will receive an invitation for an interview via email within one business day.

If I apply today, when should I hear back from you?

You can expect to hear back from us within 24 hours (1 business day).

Do have to work with children if it is not my specialty?

No, if you like or you specialize in working with adults only, or families only, you will receive referrals that match your expertise.

If I apply and I am selected, what will my schedule be like? Do I have to work weekends?

You organize your schedule based on your needs. If you have to take your children to school and want to work only during the afternoon, you are free to do so! If your current job allows you to work only during the evening, or early mornings, or weekends, you are welcome to schedule the clients during those times. Whatever works between you and the clients works for us!

Is this a W2 or a 1099 (Independent Contractor) position?

In 2019 the State of California approved Assembly Bill AB5 to ensure all workers, including mental health providers, would not be exploited by indiscriminate corporative practices (e.g., excluding them from benefits and family assistance). It came into effect on January 1st, 2020. The AB5 law generally does not allow hiring LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC as Independent Contractors. Although some companies in California continued to hire LMFT and LCSW as independent contractors, we proud ourselves to offer all of our LMFT and LCSW employment as W2 employees.

Will you provide me access to the EHR or do I have to buy one?

We will provide you with our simple yet powerful EHR and PHI system.

Do I have to do my billing?

No, we want you to focus on the clinical aspect of therapy, so the clients can see the results happening in their lives. We have medical billers who take care of this for you.

If selected, when would I be able to start?

Usually within 2 to 4 weeks, sometimes is less than that.

I specialize also in group therapy and supervision, do you have an opening for that too?

Yes, we have groups that run cyclically for teens and adults. If you have experience with groups and want to start a group, you are very welcome to let us know; we would be thrilled to hear your ideas!

As for supervision: multiple clinicians at our office work as clinicians and supervisors, quickly reaching an income of $140,000+ a year. If you want to add supervisory hours to therapy, please let us know.

Do you offer any benefits?

Yes, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision, Paid leave.

Do I have to be at your office to provide therapy?

All current openings are for remote positions only (Telehealth).

Do I have to have my own Liability insurance?

No, you are covered under our company’s liability insurance.
